The sacrament of Confirmation is prepared for in the parish community as directed by the bishop.

In accordance with guidance from the Bishop and the Liturgical Committee of the Diocese, Confirmation is for young people over the age of 15. The bishop comes to each parish for this sacrament every three years. Additionally special permission is given for the parish priest to confirm at Pentecost.

Enrolment for Sacrament of Confirmation 2011

Candidates must be 15 years or more, and be practicing Catholics in our parish with regular attendance at Mass. There will be approximately six instructions which must all be attended. Candidates should email Fr John Garrett with their name, address, date of birth and telephone number.
