Christian Aid

We believe in life before death - Christian Aid works in almost 50 countries helping people, regardless of religion or race, to improve their own lives and tackle the causes of poverty and injustice.

Each year 'Churches Together in Saffron Walden' (CTSW) organises the Christian Aid Week collection. As in previous years, in 2008 we have assisted by helping with the door to door collections and we collected £350.80 from a total of 418 houses. Thank you to all those who took part. If you can spare some time to help with our future collections in Saffron Walden, it would be great to hear from you.

Once a month (second Tuesday), CTSW hold a lunch of soup and sandwiches in support of Christian Aid. These are held at the Friends Meeting House from 13:00 - all are welcome.
